Figurina Krishna on leaf

Inspired by the rich iconography of Hindu mythology, this piece portrays Krishna in his childhood—one of the most cherished stages of the deity, symbolizing love, compassion, and joy. Resting on a leaf, the divine child is depicted with tenderness and charm as he plays his bansuri, a flute crafted in gold-plated brass. Every detail is masterfully rendered in porcelain, combining matte and glazed finishes to enhance the depth and expressiveness of the composition.

The ornaments adorning his body—bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and anklets—are hand-painted with colorful enamels and golden luster accents, adding both visual richness and spiritual symbolism. The peacock feather in his hair, the gentle gesture of his hands, and the serene look on his face reflect the sacred essence of the character and his role as a spiritual guide.

This creation blends Lladró’s artisanal mastery with deep cultural sensitivity, resulting in a work of art that celebrates spirituality and beauty through the universal language of porcelain.
